Charlie Sheen's Hair Drug Test

Instead of doing a blood test to detect drugs in Charlie Sheen's blood they need to do a hair drug test. A 1.5 inch sample will give a 90 day history of drug use. Drugs test for are Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates (codeine, morphine,heroin), Amphetamines, Phencyclidine (PCP). If any components of Methamphetamine, MDA or Ecstasy (MDMA) are found in the preliminary test a confirming test will be conducted. We can also test for the extended opiate drug type pain killers.

A blood test is only going to give you a 72 hour history so it would be easy for Charlie Sheen to get off Cocaine for a short time. The only time you would do a blood test would be in an accident situation or forensic case.
